Just before 5:00 pm on Monday, October 15th a female victim reported being assaulted and robbed near West Clifton and Hamilton Boulevard in Sioux City.

Police say a male approached her vehicle and demanded money. He then assaulted her and took her vehicle. The vehicle, a Yellow Chevrolet Cobalt was located about an hour later by Woodbury County Sheriff's Deputies near 155th and Safford Ave in Correctionville, the suspect a short time later.

The suspect, Jerren Moreno, 22 was arrested and charged with Burglary 1st, Robbery 2nd, Theft 2nd, OWI, No Drivers License, and Criminal Mischief. and is being held at the Woodbury County Jail.
