Police investigating reported burglary in process in Morningside

About 12:30 am Tuesday morning Sioux City Police responded to the 2700 block of Macomb Avenue in the Morningside Neighborhood of Sioux City for reports of a burglary in process.

The occupant reported they woke to find someone in their home, who then fled. Police setup a perimeter and searched on foot and with Police K9 but were unable to locate any suspects. Police have confirmed they are investigating the report but at this time are still gathering details in the report and investigating.
