Lucas King was taken into custody about 3:30 am on Thursday morning on Highway 50 just into Clay County after a 30-minute pursuit that started in Elk Point and went down to Jefferson then back up to Elk Point and eventually to Highway 50 before the vehicle had become disabled.

In addition the pursuit this morning King has a record of many Felony charges including other pursuits and stolen vehicles. He is also the suspect in a stolen Honda Civic from Sioux City that was recovered last week on Interstate 29 between North Sioux and Jefferson with stolen firearms after the vehicle was abandoned after crashing due to road conditions.
