Female driver arrested on charges related to New Years shooting and murder in Sioux City

Police say they have arrested Liliana Olivia Gutierrez, 20 on Tuesday. Gutierrez is believed to have been the driver in the New Years Party shooting and murder that took place in the 2600 Block of Walker Street in Sioux City. Guitierrez has been charged with three counts of reckless use of firearms and one count of going armed with intent. It's not believed she took part in the physical shooting.

Police said last week a New Years party on the 2600 block of Walker Street in the Morningside neighborhood of Sioux City ended in violence when a vehicle pulled up to a residence and began firing shots. When police arrived they found that multiple people had been injured in the gunfire and a female teen had died.

Today police are saying they have arrested two additional suspects for the murder of Mia Kritis. Carlos Morales and Anthony Bauer aka Tony Diaz, both 18 of Sioux City were taken into custody after officers located them at 4:25 p.m. in a car in the 3100 block of Floyd Blvd. Both are being charged with 1st Degree Murder, Intimidation with a Dangerous Weapon, Going Armed with Intent, and three counts Reckless Use of Firearm.

Two other people were detained by police but were released without charges. Sioux City Police are still looking for people that were at the party at the time of the shooting and anyone else with information.
