Just after 12:30 pm, the Sioux City Police Department received a report of a stabbing in the 300 block of S. Rosella St.

Officers arriving on scene located an adult male victim suffering from a stab wound. The victim was treated by Sioux City Fire & Rescue on scene and then transported to a local hospital with a non-life threatening stab wound. Officers on scene were also confronted by the adult female suspect who was armed with a knife. After refusing commands and trying to provoke officers into a confrontation she was subdued by officers. The suspect was transported to a local hospital for treatment and evaluation. The stabbing occurred during a domestic dispute between the suspect and victim who are married. Charges are pending and the names of parties involved are not being released at this time.
